Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir
Rising near Chhatikara on the edge of Vrindavan, the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir is set to become the tallest religious monument on earth — a soaring ISKCON Bangalore project that will stand around 210 metres, taller than any temple ever built.
About
The world’s
tallest temple
The Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir is an ambitious temple dedicated to Radha Krishna, planned to reach roughly 210 metres (about 70 storeys). When complete it will overshadow every existing temple in height, with viewing galleries offering panoramic darshan of the whole of Braj.
Around the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, the developers are recreating the twelve forests (dwadash kanan) of Braj — the groves of Krishna’s leelas — as a living green belt. Even mid-construction, the scale of the Chandrodaya Mandir draws curious pilgrims and visitors.
